Adenium obesum is a desert caudicfiorm ranging from east Africa to southern Arabia. It stores its moisture reserves in the swollen stem base. This variety produces beautiful open-faced crimson flowers from spring through autumn. The prominently veined, glossy leaves have pale downy undersides.
